We also deliver large orders to locations 25-45 miles away from our location including Ventura, Ojai, Buellton, Santa Ynez, and Los Olivos for $125. If a specific time or day is required, please contact us for confirmation before placing your order. 

Large orders that require multiple trips or special delivery vehicles will incur additional charges.

In cases where the gift presentation or safe and timely arrival of an order is essential, we can also offer hand delivery of larger orders across California. Contact us for delivery fees.

What happens if my recipient isn't home?

If your recipient isn't home, our delivery person will use their best judgment if it's appropriate and secure to leave the gift. We can never leave a wine gift, since gifts with wine require a signature of an adult 21+. Please provide an address where you expect someone will be present during delivery hours and a valid delivery phone number.

We can accommodate same day delivery on most orders placed by 11:30am PST with rush processing.

Can I include a gift note?

When you click the "Cart" icon and scroll down, just above the "Checkout" button there is a field where you can tell us what you would like your note to say and provide us with the desired delivery date. Your note will be handwritten on our house stationery or you can select a special greeting card.  

If you forget and/or are unable to locate the right field, feel free to email us the information at info@santabarbaracompany.com or just reply to your email receipt. 

I am delivering a gift to a hotel. How does this work?

If you are sending one gift to a guest at a hotel, we will drop the gift at the hotel front desk so that they can either deliver it to the recipient's room or alert the guest that the gift is being held at the front desk.

If you are ordering gifts for a group or a special event, you probably have a contact at the hotel. We can deliver gifts to their care so they can ensure that you or your guests receive the gifts on time. Just provide us with their name. We can also coordinate delivery directly with you or an onsite planner. 

Some hotels won't accept a gift unless they can locate the correct room number (so you'll need to know the name the room has been booked under). Other hotels won't verify that they have a guest staying with them for privacy reasons. You may wish to call the hotel to let them know you have a gift being delivered and to find out their policies. We are happy to work with your needs and their policies. 

What happens if my order is undeliverable and I decide to cancel the order?

We will refund your order minus a 25 percent restocking fee to cover the time and cost of assembly and the local delivery charge (if delivery has been attempted).
