Theopolis 2021 Estate Grown Petite Sirah

$ 45

Aromas of blackberry, cassis, and violet unfurl alongside hints of cocoa, sandalwood, and a wisp of campfire smoke. The palate is rich and layered — think blueberry compote, dark plum, and black currant laced with pepper, anise, and bittersweet chocolate. Fermented with 100% whole clusters and aged in fine French oak, it carries a supple structure and those signature Theopolis tannins — firm yet velvety — that promise both immediate pleasure and age-worthy elegance. The finish lingers with notes of leather, graphite, and wild spice, grounded by a mineral edge that speaks of the rugged Yorkville Highlands terroir. Decadent yet refined.

This wine is rich and concentrated, with aromas of blackberry, cassis, violet, allspice and bittersweet chocolate. The midpalate has flavors of blueberry jam, dried baking spices, vanilla bean and toasted walnut. Layers of black currant, sandalwood, rock and minerality bring everything together. Pair with grilled ahi tuna. — Tonya Pitts, Wine Enthusiast 92 points

Successful delivery of wine legally requires the signature of an adult 21+. Please provide an address where someone will be available to sign. Read our Wine Terms & FAQ for more details.

Wine is an amazing gift! However, due to the nature of regulations, it does come with some additional risks and costs. We have put together this brief FAQ so you can make sure that a wine gift is the best fit.

The basics?

You and your recipient must be over 21.

Are there any costs associated with shipping wine?

There is a $6 adult signature fee on all wine shipments and this is reflected in your shipping cost, calculated at check-out.

In addition, for some shipments USPS Priority Mail might be a more affordable shipping method (especially within California, or near states). Wine cannot ship USPS, so you will not be given this option at check-out.

Are there any risks in shipping wine?

It is the customer's responsibility to provide an address where someone 21+ will be available to sign for the shipment. Shipping carriers will make a few attempts, and if no one is home, the recipient will be given the opportunity to pick up the gift from a Fedex location. If they do not pick it up within the designated window, it will be returned to us. We cannot offer refunds on any perishable items that are returned to us. To maintain the highest quality, we cannot restock wine in most cases. We can refund items that can be restocked as store credit. Shipping charges are not refundable.

Where can wine be shipped?

We can deliver wine to homes, offices and hotels in the Santa Barbara area and can ship to all states except Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Kentucky, Mississippi, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, South Dakota & Utah.

Anything else?

We strongly recommend that you provide a valid phone number for your recipient, provided in the Shipping Information at check-out. They may be contacted by Fedex or our courier in case of delivery issues or to arrange for a convenient delivery time.
